Synod Pope Francis has invited all Catholics to share reflections on “Journeying together.” The Goals of the synod: • To engage as many people as possible in conversation and discernment on what the Holy Spirit is asking of the Church of the 21st Century. • To give prayerful input on the needs of the Church today and the way to speak about the mission of Christ to all people in the world we live in today. |
How are we at Our Lady at St Germaine to do that?
We are to encounter, listen, and to discern; by meeting, talking, listening and sharing with those around us.
Having been through the Renew My Church Experience and endured the crisis of the pandemic, we are now called to build upon the mission of Jesus for ourselves and our neighbors.
Saturday April 2nd 9:00-11:30 we will have our Parish Wide Listening Session.
We ask that ALL Parishioners please keep the date open, more information will follow!

PARISH LISTENING SESSION AND SURVEY
Our Synod Listening Session is on April 2nd from 9:00 –11:30.
ALL parishioners are invited to join us for breakfast and conversation on how we can build up the mission of the Church and our parish. We have been through a lot of challenges and change in the past few years and now is the time to look toward the future. What are the needs of God’s people? How can we reach out to those on the fringes? How do we welcome family and friends back to the Church? What gifts and challenges do we have that we can share with each other to make Our Lady at St Germaine a radically hospitable community? God calls each one of us to be disciples. It begins with all of us, every generation has something to share. Please plan to attend!
