Contemplative Prayer in the Style of Taize

Singing is one of the most important forms of prayer. A few words sung over and over again reinforce the meditative quality of prayer. A basic reality of faith is expressed that can be grasped easily by the intellect, and gradually pentrates one's heart and being.
Chants provide a way of praying when one is alone at anytime during the day or night, even in the silence of one's heart while one is working.
Prayer in the style of Taize, will be offered every first Wednesday of the month, beginning on September 7th. Sung chants, scripture, and intercessory prayer calms the soul and unites us to the needs of the world.
